<p>I don&#8217;t <strong>get</strong> this. You don&#8217;t NORMALLY see men complaining about the fact that <strong>women</strong> only want men with <strong>six</strong> <strong>pack</strong> and <strong>a</strong> big D_I_C_K? Im an average guy and i don&#8217;t whine about <strong>women</strong> being  &#8220;unrealistic&#8221;&#8230;so why do <strong>women</strong> do this? </p>
<p><strong>Women</strong> complain that men are shallow because they enjoy seeing supermodels on television and in other media, they say men should lower their standards and &#8220;accept them <strong>for</strong> who they are&#8221;&#8230;WHY THE HELL SHOULD THEY?  Men cant help being attracted <strong>to</strong> the ideal body type (which im sorry <strong>to</strong> say tends <strong>to</strong> be the supermodel type)&#8230; Are we just supposed <strong>to</strong> start forcing ourselves <strong>to</strong> start liking fatties, so <strong>women</strong> don&#8217;t have <strong>to</strong> take care of themselves? Why do many <strong>women</strong> have <strong>to</strong> try and shame men <strong>for</strong> &#8220;not being fair&#8221;?</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t like it that men idealize the TV supermodel type? Tough luck&#8230;do something about it, its NOT impossible <strong>to</strong> look like them&#8230;they did it why cant average <strong>women</strong>? Lazy? it not like modern <strong>women</strong> are stuck at home caring <strong>for</strong> children.</p>
<p>Instead of whining about men being shallow, why not accept it and do something. I know <strong>women</strong> want <strong>a</strong> man with <strong>a</strong> <strong>six</strong> <strong>pack</strong>, i know <strong>women</strong> want <strong>a</strong> man with money, i know im ugly compared <strong>to</strong> the ideal man, do  i try <strong>to</strong> bitch and whine about <strong>women</strong> and society <strong>for</strong> this? NO!</p>
<p>So why do <strong>women</strong> hate men who like this particular body type?</p>

<p class="dtm-content">Actually, both sexes complain about these things.  Some men also complain about women wanting the man with money, or looks (Wow, all you need is a six pack to have looks?), or etc.  </p>
<p>Your point of instead of complaining, doing something about it, is a pretty decent one.   </p>
<p>However, </p>
<p>Better point, the complaints show a lack of confidence.   </p>
<p>So develop some confidence, first.  </p>
<p>My experience with women is that they generally look at a man&#8217;s confidence first and formost and in some-cases it is the only thing women consider when considering a man.  </p>
<p>We men are similar in that respect, but it is not as widely talked about.  A woman that is insecure will do things that drive men away like complain and question a man about women he looks at.</p>

<h2>How can a thin woman really get a six pack?</h2>
<p>I am 5&#8217;10&#8221; 125lbs so weight/fat loss is not <strong>a</strong> real issue overall. If I do gain weight, it goes straight <strong>to</strong> my abs so I suppose I would be &#8220;apple shaped&#8221; if I was bigger, opposed <strong>to</strong> &#8220;pear shaped.&#8221; (I heard <strong>for</strong> <strong>women</strong> its usually the abs or hips) </p>
<p>I work out about 4x <strong>a</strong> week but dont know <strong>how</strong> much or <strong>how</strong> long <strong>to</strong> do cardio (I know necessary <strong>to</strong> keep the fat off the abs so you can visibly see muscle). I do about 45 mins on eliptical 2-3x/wk. And, <strong>how</strong> often I should do abs. Every workout? Every other? <strong>How</strong> strict with carbs b/c I know you have <strong>to</strong> be if you really want your muscles <strong>to</strong> show?  </p>
<p>I&#8217;m def not saying I am anywhere close but what do swimsuit models do <strong>for</strong> fitness and what do they eat? I think my body type is similar and I want <strong>to</strong> do this healthy but most plans I find are <strong>for</strong> people who want <strong>to</strong> lose weight. I just want <strong>to</strong> tighten and tone. And, I&#8217;m not trying <strong>to</strong> be Miss Olympia.</p>

<p>Get a scale that calibrates body fat in addition to just weight.  If you get down to between 9-13% body fat and hit abs correctly about 3X per week, adding resistance, you should get sick abs!</p>

<h2>Are us women only bothered by the media because we allow it to?</h2>
<p>I was just looking at Yahoo! Answers and saw this question about <strong>how</strong> this girl said she&#8217;s tired of people saying skinny girls aren&#8217;t real <strong>women</strong>, they need curves! I agree, you&#8217;re still <strong>a</strong> woman with or without curves, but then I thought, are <strong>women</strong> only bothered by this because we let ourselves be bothered? An article in <strong>a</strong> magazine says &#8216;Men prefer curvy <strong>women</strong>&#8216; so every girl who reads it freaks out and puts herself through hell trying <strong>to</strong> achieve the perferct body.<br />
I&#8217;ve never asked <strong>a</strong> guy, but if you read <strong>a</strong> magazine article that said &#8216;<strong>women</strong> prefer <strong>six</strong> packs&#8217;(<strong>for</strong> whatever space-time bending reason) would you care?</p>
<p>Well, now that I asked the question I feel dumb, because I feel like I answered it <strong>for</strong> myself. But it seems like we have so much more <strong>to</strong> worry about; hair, make up, clothes, body image. Did it <strong>get</strong> this way because us <strong>women</strong> let it?</p>

Without making people feel bad about their hair or body image they can&#8217;t sell their products.  The media targets both genders with the perfect exercise equipment to get the perfect body or the diet program that will achieve the perfect body.  Men are targets for this as much as women.  There are hair restoration commercials that target men and of course the male enhancement commercials.  Both genders are equally responsible for letting the media control the way they look and feel about themselves.</p>

<p>All <strong>women</strong> come in different shapes and sizes, some may have big boobs, some may have small boobs, some may have <strong>a</strong> big butt, some may not have <strong>a</strong> big butt, some may have thicker legs but <strong>a</strong> slim figure, some may have chunky arms but <strong>a</strong> small waist, etc, etc. So why have scientists &#8220;proven&#8221; that men prefer the 0.7 hip.waist ratio, when all men are DIFFERENT, and think DIFFERENTLY? It&#8217;s like saying ALL <strong>women</strong> want <strong>a</strong> man with <strong>a</strong> <strong>six</strong> <strong>pack</strong>, ALL <strong>women</strong> want <strong>a</strong> man whose rich and living in <strong>a</strong> mansion, ALL <strong>women</strong> want <strong>a</strong> man who have dark eyes/hair, etc. Also, this whole 0.7 ratio thing is going <strong>to</strong> <strong>get</strong> <strong>women</strong> all over feeling so damn insecure about themselves, thinking that they&#8217;re too fat or thin if they don&#8217;t have <strong>a</strong> 0.7 ratio. Honestly, the article made me feel like shyt, not because I am feeling sorry <strong>for</strong> myself that I don&#8217;t have <strong>a</strong> 0.7 ratio, but because I have always been on stupid diets TRYING <strong>to</strong> be what everyone else wants me <strong>to</strong> be. It&#8217;s so damn crazy <strong>how</strong> people, magazines, tv ads, etc make you feel so insecure. Yes I should be proud of my body, but all the damn time there&#8217;s always something that has <strong>to</strong> bring us <strong>WOMEN</strong> down. Instead of being happiness, radiant and being nice and helpful <strong>to</strong> others, we should focus on getting <strong>a</strong> 0.7 ratio <strong>to</strong> <strong>get</strong> men now? <strong>How</strong> will we EVER <strong>get</strong> checked out again (sarcasm) and who will ever marry us even with <strong>a</strong> 0.8 ratio (more sarcasm).</p>

<p class="dtm-content">The .7 rule feeds the diets industry (pun intended&#8230; Hehehe), which is one of the biggest industries there is.  Women diet because the media makes them feel bad, the media uses unrealistic beauty standards because that is what makes the beauty industry happy, and the beauty industry buys ads in magazines, and women buy products form the beauty industry because they feel like they have to.  It is all about money.  Unfortunately it is a hard cycle to break.  If a few women stop wearing makeup and being slaves to fashion, they get branded &#8220;ugly&#8221; and &#8220;radical feminists&#8221; or &#8220;feminazis&#8221;.  Everyone would have to stop all at once for it to change, and that won&#8217;t happen anytime soon.</p>
<p>I always wish that women could choose their level of involvement with their appearance, the same way men can.  Men are allowed to be completely ungroomed and still told they are sexy, while women have to slave away just to be average.</p>

The results of these could pin point a female ancestor some 20,000-40,000 years ago.<br />
I&#8217;m in the UK, too, and my results gave me a &#8220;Clan Mother&#8221; in the Middle East.<br />
I&#8217;m Blood Group A Neg, and although this is a wide-spread group, there is more of a concentration in more Northerly climes since it appears that earlier people with this grouping were more susceptible to diseases prevalent in hotter climates.</p>

<p>On girls i like to see healthy muscles, the #2 looks too skinny, at least #1 had healthy looking muscles(more bulk to her)</p>
<p>the guys I choose the second link picture because I like the healthier look to guys(and girls), that I and I couldn&#8217;t find a picture of my boyfriends body type (not really really toned, but average, healthy looking, with a little chub to him(like baby fat..kinda), none of those pictures really represented that</p>

<p>I am underweight (88lbs) and I KNOW if I could just gain a tiny bit of weight and I grow up some more (as in get bigger breasts) my body would probably look similar to hers<br />
I already work out in a gym 3 days a week, I take pilate classes 6 days a week and I&#8217;m eating super healthy, lots of protein and carbs, vegetables, fruits, dairy..The problem is, I don&#8217;t wanna gain fat. I wanna stay slim and be toned.. How can I gain more weight and keep my body looking good?</p>

<p>point 1 &#8211; exercising 9 times a week is too much if your actually pushing yourself<br />
point 2 &#8211; and if you not pushing yourself that&#8217;s the fist problem<br />
point 3 &#8211; Lift weights get a good body-building routine<br />
point 4 &#8211; just because your thin/small doesn&#8217;t mean you can have a ripped toned body &#8211; you must get you body fat % down really low &#8211; odds are your bf% is too high right now<br />
point 5 &#8211; don&#8217;tbe afraid to lift weights its not like your gonna wwake upone morning and be like dam overnight my arms got huge lol &#8211; its takes aall ofof time if you eventually start getting too muscular then start to worry ddon&#8217;teven think about it at the beginning</p>
<p>*** right now i think the most important thing for you to do is put on some weight and muscle including some fat &#8211; once your a decent size start cutting the fat off your body &#8211; because at your weight if you start cutting it will be extremely unhealthy</p>

<p>Girls try so hard to be sexually appealing, but is super skinny really the way to go? Personally, I don&#8217;t find it sexy. So I&#8217;m trying to make a point and trying to bust the myth that guys want the super skinny.</p>

<p class="dtm-content">Definitely your average girl type that you posted.  I could go slightly over or above because looks isn&#8217;t everything on a girl.  But I figure appearance indicates something about a girls personality and thinking as well her ability to work with  what she was born with.</p>
<p>I would avoid a potential girlfriend if she was one of those super skinny models (barely more than a skeleton with skin) or if she looked like she worked out with weights and a bowflex machine every day.  </p>
<p>I like the wholesome &#8220;girl next door&#8221; look. Your &#8220;average&#8221; size picture was just about the right size.    </p>

<p>i do 100 sit ups a day, about 15 <strong>minutes</strong> of sprinting <strong>in</strong> place, alot of baseball, a low diet but with lots of protein will i <strong>get</strong> a <strong><strong>six</strong></strong> <strong>pack</strong>&#8230; Also I am 5.5 and weigh 117 pounds and i have less than 7% body fat</p>

<p class="dtm-content">You gotta be careful with the protein. Too much will get you fat, too little will not let you grow. ( you do want to grow don&#8217;t you? )</p>
<p>Aim at eating good dietary fiber for breakfast, that&#8217;s plenty of protein to replenish your abs, but leave the big protein for lunch on EXTRA HARD days. Don&#8217;t go about giving yourself too much protein, otherwise your body won&#8217;t know what to do with it.</p>
<p>Also, abs don&#8217;t come by quantity, they come by quality. If you want a six pack, stop doing so many situps. It&#8217;s ironic, but it&#8217;s true. Aim at doing lots of sets (say, eight sets of fifty situps, alternating between side to side and simple). But do the situps WELL. That means doing them real Slow and Painful.</p>
<p>Bend your knees always (your straight abdominal muscle is the strongest muscle in your body, and can easily damage your vertebral column). Move your thorso toward the ceiling while not flexing your neck forward. Don&#8217;t touch the floor with your back. And don&#8217;t go too far forward either, there&#8217;s no point. That&#8217;s all there is to it, move yourself vertically and focus on slowness and really crunching your abs each and every time.</p>
<p>One last thing, if you don&#8217;t let your muscles to rest, they will never develop, as the exercise you do when they are developing is analogous to a boy stomping on an anthill, and the ants trying each time to make it complete. You stop your own success. Give em time, but when you exercise, give em a HELL of a time!</p>

<p>I am very <strong>in</strong> shape,i am a first degree black belt <strong>in</strong> karate,im 14 and I am about 6-1.I have been doing around 200 crunches,and around 50 leg raises, and about 20 <strong>minutes</strong> on my stationary bike, and run for about 10 <strong>minutes</strong>.</p>

<p class="dtm-content">Everyone with ab muscles has a &#8220;six pack,&#8221; which is simply the rectus abdominus muscles.  They&#8217;re the ones right in front of the abs that everyone notices on someone thin and fit.  To make them move obvious, you lose the fat around the midsection, so increasing the cardio is your best option.  Add another 15-20 minutes to your run and see if that makes a difference in the next few weeks.</p>
<p>And since you&#8217;re only 14, you might still be outgrowing your &#8220;baby fat,&#8221; especially if you&#8217;re a boy.  You might find your abs more defined as you get older and continue working out.</p>

<p class="dtm-content">Well the best way to work your abs is to do crunches for you mid section i would recommend either doing them on the floor, decline bench strengthens your abs really well, also you can use the ball and do them on the ball. The ball is good so you don&#8217;t strain your back and it&#8217;s rather comfortable. Going to the left and right is for your obliques the sides so I recommend doing a few sets of those anywhere from 12 to 20 reps per set. You can also use weights on crunches to strengthen your abs even more. I say begin doing crunches 25 reps per set do 4 sets &#8230;. 4 sets in the middle, 4 sets on the right, 4 sets on the left, also I would do reverse crunches for your lower abs and by a body bar to do twists to also work your obliques. As well as doing exercises like the one I have explained I would recommend cutting all fatty and sweet foods from your diet. You are what you eat so if you eat healthy you will see results quicker as then eating crap. Also I recommend eating carbohydrates but limit the carbs you eat I would eat good carbs no White bread, white rice, or white pasta&#8230;try to stay with all whole grains. Cardio is good to do after you do your ab workout. So run or do whatever you feel is necessary afterwards. Hope my information was helpful.</p>

<p class="dtm-content">Stomach crunches, leg lifts and pushups are very good.</p>
<p>Leg lifts can be done laying on your back, feet flat on the floor and knees bent. You can then just raise your bent knees up towards your chest. I have read that straight leg raises could hurt your lower back. </p>
<p>Also a combination of leg lifts with stomach crunches. Not only are these exercises good for the stomach, but also the lower back which is important.</p>

<p>I am starting to go to  my own gym every day and I do push ups (15), bridges, 6kg dumbells, and a machine that helps my arm muscles but I am wondering how I can acheive and good sixpack in not too much time. What <strong>exercises</strong> and tips do I put to use for results? Also good arm muscle <strong>exercises</strong> are always helpful if anyone knows any! thanks!!</p>

<p class="dtm-content">Well two things you&#8217;ll need to add, about 15 minutes on a bike/treadmill/elliptical, make it really intense and fast so you burn the most fat, and as many crunches as you can do then when you can&#8217;t keep going switch to sit-ups. You need the cardio so you can get your body fat % very, very low, so your muscles will show through.<br />
Also if you don&#8217;t mind adding in the extra time if your gym has a oblique twist machine, and for these just do about 2 sets for each side of about 10-15 reps.</p>

To work your abdominals, you need to do crunches, and variations of it.  Start with 3 sets of as many crunches as you can do, which should be between 10-30, I&#8217;m guessing.  Do this for the first week, then build up to adding extra exercises such as knee tucks off the end of a bench (http://www.netfit.co.uk/assets/004s.jpg),   and even adding weight to your crunches, by holding a heavy book, or a small weight disc (up to 5kgs).  This will allow you to build you abs to a degree that you can see the addominal muscles under your skin, hence, a &#8217;6 pack&#8217;.<br />
Make sure you are not eating much sugary and fatty foods, as this will just add body fat, which is the covering over your abs.  Minimal bodyfat means a defined stomach.<br />
Do some cardio work, too, to help you tone up a little more.  Anything like running for 2-30 mins, 2-3 times a week, will help a lot to achieving a 6-pack even faster.<br />
It wont take long, within a few weeks, you should start to notice some results <img src='http://bestsixpack.co.uk/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

Here is the deal when you eat it will probably show on your stomach so what you need to do avoid to much fatty foods. Six packs are maintained by but not limited to sit ups and crunches(do as much as you could every morning BEFORE you eat). And before you take a bath in the evening or night. You packs such be in tip top shape in about a month. Could really be less if you do dem more longer and more frequently.For me i don&#8217;t have Bowflex so i hang upside down from a pole in room and do them there. You do your own thing dude!</p>

<p>Im 15 years old am pretty thin. Ive been playing soccer for a while so my abs are strong, but you cant see the individual packs, even when im flexing.  Im not asking for amazing <strong>six</strong> <strong>pack</strong> abs.  I just want to know which <strong>exercises</strong> I should do so that after a few weeks you can start to see a result of individual packs and eventually a very good set of abs.  How many should I do each day, what kind, how many sets? etc.</p>

<p>Do one in three <strong>women</strong> <strong>get</strong> violated, because I as <strong>a</strong> man had <strong>a</strong> violent father and vowed <strong>to</strong> focus on why his character was violent and vowed whatever caused it in him would never happen in my or my off spring?</p>
<p>There is nothing funny about having <strong>a</strong> hammer thrust into your head as <strong>a</strong> bloke, but dating just two violated <strong>women</strong> one as <strong>a</strong> relationship actually harms the intimacy, do <strong>women</strong> ever recover, and if not what can be done by men <strong>to</strong> prevent men not respecting <strong>women</strong> and why is this not <strong>a</strong> major political issue serious effecting politics is it also an immigration or xenaphobic or genderbias or sexual preference bias question?</p>
<p>From the two <strong>women</strong> who were violently violated I treated with respect whom other men has committed violence <strong>to</strong>, I focussed on empowerment and kindness and gratitude, but it seemed in one case the woman could no longer have kids and went nuts and I had the worst sex of my entire life, and in the other, desensitised as if there was no soul as <strong>a</strong> lust <strong>to</strong> just stinging men? Weird! Is this the terror talked about when those who care <strong>for</strong> us are attacked.</p>
<p>What can be done by men, <strong>to</strong> make <strong>women</strong> safer and the issues of relationships better too <strong>for</strong> <strong>women</strong> who are violated men just dont seem <strong>to</strong> understand. My specialist doctor said when violation was inevitable enjoy it and it really angered my mom who has led <strong>a</strong> privelleged life, can some <strong>women</strong> understand that blokes seeing <strong>a</strong> woman taken away <strong>for</strong> <strong>a</strong> self pitying exercise of focussing hatred and issues other than we male people can not understand is unhelpful if we call it wallowing in self pity apparently it said in the doctors surgery too one in <strong>six</strong> men <strong>get</strong> violated too, is this by <strong>women</strong>? Do they seek revenge by scaring men into the act of excitability as <strong>a</strong> group <strong>pack</strong> rape of <strong>six</strong> <strong>women</strong> on one man, and do men <strong>get</strong> taken seriously if they report it?</p>
<p>In days gone bye my folks used <strong>to</strong> focus on morality, respect decency dignity but dad would manipulate himself by anger <strong>to</strong> do work, although he was never violently sexual <strong>to</strong> my knowledge as <strong>a</strong> loving man, he had <strong>a</strong> brain infection of white blood cells excessive from motor accident aged 18 caused it and mellowed with age.<br />

So why do folks hot spot take pride in being mean spirited nasty and horrid is this causing it cyclically distructively?<br />
And if you really wanted <strong>to</strong> manage anger why talk about it surely aborb attention onto responsibly dealing with gentleness not as <strong>a</strong> denial <strong>for</strong> the opposite we know already exists but why encourage it if the priorty <strong>to</strong> focus is quality values of another type, surely we are creating the frustration by denial anger and manipulation rather than kind gentle motivation of desires?</p>
<p>I find it bazaar why dominance is an issue at all or why controlling others as <strong>a</strong> power trip should be <strong>a</strong> focus instead, strict adherence <strong>to</strong> not loose resolve in being kindly gentle will always be more influential even if you have <strong>to</strong> go your own way about getting it, I just dont see hostile agression as an answer <strong>to</strong> confronting or combatting inappropriate behaviour especially if healthy behaviour is alleged <strong>to</strong> be the focus? Relevance, <strong>how</strong> <strong>to</strong> return <strong>to</strong> normality and what is normality in <strong>a</strong> modern world?</p>

<p>The prevalence of sexual assault, reported an unreported, is of great social concern.  When women are afraid to walk alone at night for fear of assault,   we must accept that society has not done it&#8217;s job of providing for the common welfare.  What action can be taken to remedy this?<br />

<p>I&#8217;m not calling for censorship, just a shift in the volume of material that contains explicit sexual violence and a request for more entertainment that does not include violence in order to entertain.</p>

<p class="dtm-content">I think your chances of admission to any of these colleges is pretty good.  You have excellent academic credentials, and have shown great determination in the accomplishment of your goals.  In addition, I think that your background of overcoming obstacles, and persevering in spite of them, shows your  internal character and achieving spirit.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t know what the admissions standards are for all of these schools, but Im sure you would be accepted to most of them.</p>
<p>Another thing to your advantage is that colleges prefer to have a diverse student population, those with varying backgrounds, and you certainly have an atypical, &#8220;different from the norm&#8221; life.</p>
<p>If I were you I would start focusing on which of these schools would be my first, second, and third choices, because you are going to receive multiple acceptance offers.</p>
<p>I am sorry your mom has a disability, but that only further shows your resilience.  Also, I suspect that should help you receive financial aid on campus.</p>
<p>Congratulations to you, you have done well.  Stop worrying.</p>

<p class="dtm-content">I would say that you probably don&#8217;t have much of a shot at Berkeley or UCLA, and probably not at UCSD and USC, because your ACT and GPA are not quite where they would need to be for those schools.  You have a decent shot at the other UCs and CSUs.  This doesn&#8217;t mean that you shouldn&#8217;t stretch, though, so I think you will be fine, as long as you have backups..</p>

<p class="dtm-content">You have a good chance at all of them, even though your GPA and scores may be a bit low for a couple of them.</p>
<p>I&#8217;d say that you have very good chances at: UD Davis, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, and Cal Poly SLO.</p>
<p>Your chances hover around 50% for UCSD. This should be the one you should be aiming for.</p>
<p>UC Berkeley and UCLA are reaches, but you should apply to them anyways. After all, it&#8217;s just a couple more checkboxes on the application. I&#8217;d say your chances for both of those are around 10%.</p>
<p>I think your foreign language skills and family situation are very unique (in a very good way). Combined with the amount of community service you do, you are probably tops when it comes down to what you can contribute to an university. Your grades and scores may be a bit on the low end (compared to the top), but the subjective parts are truly amazing and will most likely get you into the reaches.</p>
<p>Good luck. All of those are excellent colleges, and you should be proud if you get into any one of them.</p>

<p class="dtm-content">No, it does NOT have to be disabled. BUT, you WILL fail if it engages&#8230;and stays engaged as it shows a lack of braking control / skill.</p>
<p>The &#8216;emergency stop&#8217; in a UK driving test REQUIRES you to come to a full stop WITHOUT locking the wheels (a VERY small lock-up or ABS flutter is OK, so long as it is instantly corrected)</p>
<p>And it&#8217;s REALLY rare to do one in the actual test&#8230;and most instructors will only &#8216;practice&#8217; this once with you&#8230;tyres are expensive!!</p>

However that&#8217;ll make no difference if there&#8217;s fat you need to lose first.<br />
To lose fat, the best way is to do aerobic exercises, such as jogging, skipping etc. This will lose the fat, and then do the sit ups/crunches to tone <img src='http://bestsixpack.co.uk/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /><br />
Also, a healthy diet is a bonus (: and will also help to keep the fat off<br />

There are some ways of doing it with a tape measure http://www.linear-software.com/online.html use the one on the far right, don&#8217;t think its that accurate though but it will give you a good idea. Just keep at it.</p>

<p>I Play basketball  so i exercise and do basketball drills all the time so i am what you would call &#8220;fit&#8221; im 14 so what exercises can i do to make my abs visible sit ups are uncomfortabke for me but if i have <strong>2</strong> i will also plz give like <strong>how</strong> many i should o e.g. 50 sit ups 20 leg raises&#8230;.<br />
U PPL NEED <strong>2</strong> START READIN I CAN SEE THA DAMN <strong>SIX</strong> PAK but its not as visable as it could be gimme exercises <strong>2</strong> help it b more visable jheeeze and it is possible <strong>2</strong> <strong>get</strong> one <strong>in</strong> 11days some guy on youtube has done it b4 but i cant do 420 sit-ups evriday</p>

10 V-ups (Touch your hands to your toes, but crunch your body so that they meet midway in the air)<br />
10 lemon squeezers (Position yourself sitting up, put hands at side, and move your torso back into a laying position while extending your legs straight ahead. Now just row your legs to a bend while crunching toward them w/ your torso, then go back to laying position. Repeat process)<br />
10 back hypers (lay on stomach, basically a reverse cruncher)<br />
10 Leg lifts (Lay on back, lift straight legs to 45 degree angle, then bring back to ground)<br />
30 seconds of bicycles (Lay on ground, and mimick a bicycle pedal motion w/ your legs)<br />
10 side crunchers each side<br />
10 regular crunchers<br />
30 seconds of flutter kicks (Lay on back, keep both legs straight. Lift them up bairly, now alternate between raising each leg a little bit and brining it back down. This one is tought at first, but after a week it will be easy. Try to think of being a swimmer while doing this one)<br />
10 kick ups (Lay down, bring knees up toward chest, then kick legs upward to become straight in the air.)<br />
10 side double leg lifts (Hard to explain, basically lay on side, and lift both legs simultaneously as high as you can. Will feel weird at first)<br />
10 Forward Rows (Way too hard to explain, google it)<br />
10 Russian Twists (Google it)<br />
10 Scissor Kicks (Lay on back, spread leags apart in air, bring them back to center with one leg above the other, then alternate to mimick a scissor kicking action)<br />
Finish with a bridge for however long you think you can do it.</p>
<p>Once this routine becomes easy, don&#8217;t up the reps, just do the whole routine twice. (Left a few out for explanation&#8217;s sake)</p>
<p>Then also do your run at night. Cut excessive fat out of your diet, but you can have a little still.</p>
<p>Do it and you will have some abs.</p>

<p>Which one sounds reasonable? I heard that someone grew <strong>a</strong> <strong>six</strong>-<strong>pack</strong> <strong>in</strong> only 10 <strong>days</strong>. If I did crunches and sit ups and push ups 8 hours <strong>a</strong> day on weekends, <strong>2</strong>-3 hours <strong>a</strong> day on weekdays, <strong>how</strong> long do you think it will take me to <strong>get</strong> <strong>a</strong> <strong>six</strong>-<strong>pack</strong>?</p>

<p class="dtm-content">Growing a six-pack in 5 days? 7 days? 10 days? 12 days? 15 days?  Impossible&#8230;whatever you heard was seriously exaggerated.   Everyone has a 6-pack but you have to have low enough body fat to see the entire abdominal wall with out flexing and that takes time and the right diet.  You don&#8217;t need to do any abdominal training to get a 6-pack it&#8217;s all about the diet.  You need to follow a low calorie high protein diet that&#8217;s low GI diet to control insulin.  And you need to exercise at a high level of intensity to excite the metabolic rate to increase fat burning.  For males the body fat needs to be close to 10% and females 20%.  So however long it takes you to get down to 10% body fat is how long it takes.  You can do all the crunches and situps in the world and never get a 6-pack unless you have the right diet.</p>
<p>As the saying goes &#8220;great abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym&#8221;..</p>

<p class="dtm-content">Just type in &#8216;lower abdominal exercises&#8217; into Google and you will find a plethora of web pages, including videos that demonstrate how to perform lower abdominal exercises correctly.  </p>
<p>There is one caveat to getting a defined six pack and that is that you may need to lose body fat in order to get that &#8216;ripped&#8217; definition.  What this means is that you may have quite big abdominals already but they are unfortunately covered by a layer of fat.  Provided you are not overweight this is nothing to worry about but if you really do want a six pack then realistically the only way you can do this is by dieting and performing a regular cardiovascular workout.  Losing weight like this is a controlled process if you want to remain fit and healthy whilst doing it so I am afraid that there is no quick and fast way.  </p>
<p>Essentially just increase the cardiovascular and your current abdominal workout intensity and eat a sensible amount of calories.  </p>
<p>The two lower abs execises I use are the one where I lie on my back and lift my legs off the ground in a controlled fashion.  For something more intense you can lift yourself off the ground on a pull up bar and perform vertical leg raises up to your chest.  You should feel the burn specifically in your lower abs.</p>
<p>Personally, I found that the most effective way to tone my abs was to crew in a two man dingy.  I think this was due to a combination of sustained abdominal work and general exercise when moving around the boat, pulling ropes in, etc.</p>
