<p class="dtm-content">I&#8217;ve been doing the following exercises for about 3 weeks now, and it is woking wonders! I had lots of extra weight around my middle, and now I&#8217;m seeing the ab muscles more and more. </p>
<p>It doesn&#8217;t take long at all and is very effective. Take a deep breath and hold it. Tighten up your abs as hard as you can while slowly exhaling. Keep your abs REALLY TIGHT for 30 seconds if you can (being sure to exhale throughout &#8212; and inhaling as needed &#8212; you don&#8217;t want to pass out by not breathing). Repeat this a few times. Later on in the day, do it again, only this time from a slouching position or lean forward. You can vary this a bit, too, but giving attention to your side (love handle) area. You can even do them again at odd moments of the day if you want.</p>
<p>Now for the chest:  One of my favorite exercises involves making a circle-shape with my arms, with the hands clasped together out in front of me.  Tense up the chest muscles, pushing your hands against each other AS HARD AS YOU CAN until you are exhausted (30 seconds or less, normally).  Keep your focus on your pectoral muscles as you do this. Then, slowly relax your muscles and stretch your arms out, stretching out your chest muscles.  This allows your muscles to rest and begins the building-up process. </p>
<p>Do the exercises each day. And you will be amazed at the results. I have found isometrics to give me the gains of weight training and even better. Check out the article below for more info. I can&#8217;t recommend these exercises more&#8230;</p>

<p>Rectus Abdominus just like any other muscle (biceps, triceps) grow when they&#8217;re stressed (by adding weights) </p>

<p>I&#8217;m 5&#8217;5&#8243; and weigh 142 lbs. Can you just give me any ab workouts that will effectively burn fat on my <strong>abs</strong> and make them show? Don&#8217;t include crunches and sit-ups. I already know about those but just give me any other effective ab workouts that will let me <strong>get</strong> <strong>abs</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>a</strong> <strong>month</strong>. Anyway, you have to do more than just ab workouts to lose the fat. The rule of thumb is burn more calories than you consume. Get on the fucking treadmill and run until you are dead tired. Get off go to a corner and do 10 pushups, ten jumping jacks, ten crunches, and ten mountain climbers. Then run back to the treadmill and do the same thing again. Do this for 30 minutes. Now go to the weight section of your gym, grab the dumbells and start doing 10 curls with each arm. Then up the weight by 2.5 lbs until your arms are destroyed. Then go the cage where the barbel is. Put some weight and floor your ass, explode back up. In other words do a squat. Repeat 10 times. Up the eight 5lbs each side until your legs are destroyed. Finish up with crunches until your abs are on fire!<br />
Drink plenty of water in between sets.<br />
When you get home eat half of everything you normally eat. That will cut your calories in half. Couple this with the exercise and you will be losing some major weight after a week. Ask me tomorrow what the next exercise session should consist of. If you don&#8217;t the rule of thumb is work out the muscles you didn&#8217;t workout the day before. But always do the treadmill warmup routine from the beginning! You got that!</p>

My boyfriend and his friends use the most recommended abs program which includes both abs exercises, fullbody exercises and supporting eating plan so it is very useful and helpful and really works. Although my boyfriend is a football player, he hadnt got abs and than he used this program and now he has six pack. <p>i was just wondering about <strong>how</strong> people would react if they found out that I had abs or <strong>a</strong> <strong>six</strong>-<strong>pack</strong>, I don&#8217;t but lately I have been exercising and I will probably have one in <strong>a</strong> few months. Please no comments, I do weights and sit ups, and eventually I think i will have abs, so please no comment on that, thanks.<br />
Here are my 3 main questions:<br />
1) GUYS: what would your reaction be if I was in the change room getting changed <strong>for</strong> Sport or something, and you saw I had abs, would you comment or not?<br />
2) <strong>GIRLS</strong> if you somehow found out I had abs (like in swimming or at <strong>a</strong> pool/beach or something like that) <strong>how</strong> would you react?<br />

If you bulk up because you are narcissistic, people will catch on to that and will not like you for it. <p>All the guys on my CC team had serious <strong>six</strong>-packs,and the <strong>girls</strong> did not. Most of the <strong>girls</strong> ate less and ran just as hard so it is pretty obvious that it is much harder <strong>for</strong> <strong>girls</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>get</strong> <strong>a</strong> <strong>six</strong>-<strong>pack</strong>. I&#8217;ve seen it though occasionally. My question is, <strong>how</strong> do you do it?<br />

<p class="dtm-content">Basically, abs won&#8217;t show if your Body Fat Percentage is above, say, 10-12%. Men naturally have a lower BFP. An athletic man would have about 8% BFP, while an athletic woman would have a number closer to 15. To drive down this number you&#8217;d need to avoid fatty and high-carb foods (not entirely, of course, just so that you&#8217;re burning more calories than you&#8217;re taking on). You&#8217;d need to manage your diet carefully so as to maximize fat burning. Basically this means eating few or (preferably) no carbs 4 hours or so before bed, and trying not to eat at all within a couple of hours before bed (unless it&#8217;s something like non-fat cottage cheese, which is an excellent source of the slow-absorbing casein protein). Also, cardio, while important, is not necessarily the best way to eliminate excess fat. Resistance training (weight lifting) has been shown to keep your metabolism higher for longer (up to three hours after a work out) than cardio (which only raises your metabolism for as long as you&#8217;re actually working out). A good workout program that combines these types of exercises with a well-planned diet is the best route to abs.</p>
<p>Keep in mind, too, that when you start working with weights more you&#8217;ll want to increase your protein intake (and maybe also your glutamine intake) so as to keep those muscles healthy and growing. And be careful not to overtrain! Never work the same primary muscle group two days running! Gains are made in the off days, and you&#8217;ll only rip the muscle fibers to the point of injury.</p>

<p class="dtm-content">Loosing unwanted weight is always very difficult. When we eat we fill our cells. If we are taking in more than we are burning off the cells will multiply. The fat cells will never go away. They will shrink when we lose weight but if the bad eating habits return the fat cells will expand quickly. This is why people gain weight back so quickly after a crash diet. There’s not secrete to losing weight. Always boils down to two things. 1.) Proper diet. Including portion amount, time of intake, what foods you’re eating. I have read every diet book and tried most of them twice. I’m not over weight, but like to have a tight 6 pack. I have also been to a nutritionist only to better what I’m eating. What I’ve found over the years is that you need to balance your meals and eat several meals. Eating once or twice a day sends your body into a mode where it thinks you are going to starve and it will store everything instead of burning calories your forcing it to keep them in storage. Eating several small times a day increases the metabolism. It forces your body and digestive system to go to work. Avoid sugars and excess carbohydrates. I have had the best results this year when I started eating things based on the glycemic index. Which will help control insulin and glucose. Insulin also makes the body store food. Snack on mixed nuts, raw veggies or fruits. 2.) Working out. (Cardio mixed with weight training will produce best results. Cardio 1st will increase heart rate and core temperature. Follow with some weight training. You will burn more calories and have a more intense training session.)<br />
This is an example of what I eat. I’m not saying I’m perfect; this is what works for me.<br />
Breakfast: I’ll eat one pack of low sugar oatmeal. I prefer cinnamon and apples. Sometimes I’ll cut up a banana or put some frozen blue berry’s mixed in. I’ll boil eggs the night before and eat 3 egg whites for the added protein.<br />
Lunch: I can of tuna fish, I like to cut up red pepper, onions, celery, and I’ll add some egg whites left over from breakfast. I’ll eat this with one slice of wheat bread. Nature best has some healthy bread. White bread has no nutritional value. I’ll have my tuna with an apple or pear. Both are lower on the glycemic index.<br />
Dinner: I’ll have some kind of meat. I prefer chicken or I’ll grill fish. Different kinds of color rice and I’ll have some kind of vegetable.<br />
I could write all day, but the best advice I can give you is to control your portion intake and eat more times a day.</p>
