Your Questions About Abs Six Pack Diet

Lisa asks…

Can a woman who works out get six-pack abs thru diet and exercise alone without steroids?

I think it is very hard for a woman to get a huge, muscular upper body without steroids, but I have seen athletic women with abs who did not have the steroid look.

admin answers:

Yes – aboslutely and it doesnt take that much effort. I have managed it on a normaly low-fat, high protein diet and do my ab exercises every day…..and I’m 52! Mind, in fairness I have always had an athletic build and kept fairly fit, but over 40, every year it gets a bit harder. Just keep the body fat BMI index under 22

Daniel asks…

Six-pack Abs diet, what do I eat?

I am working on getting abs. I’m 15, 5’10″, 135 lbs and I don’t have my abs showing, but I also don’t have a gut either. It’s kinda in between. I’m trying to work on a diet for six-pack abs and I know the first thing to getting abs, is losing the fat covering them up. One of my friends told me to go on a 5-6 meal a day diet that helped him. I am going to do it, but, I don’t know what all should be included in the diet. I am looking for a complete meal for each of the meals. Like the foods I should be eating for each meal. So if someone can actually go into a detailed list of what I should eat in those meals while making it diverse to where I can change it up every two to three days and start over after the third day, I would greatly appreciate it.

John asks…

Six pack abs diet, nutrition, and exercise for high school student.?

Hi, during the summer, I was able to lose 60lbs off my body because I was pretty fat before. My question is how do I further lower my body fat percentage? What diet plan should I be taking or doing? Any specific nutrition I must take? What exercises are best? I’m in high school, no car, and no gym membership. I have a few dumbbells so that’s all I can really work with. Just 2 weeks ago, I’ve been trying a high protein diet by eating just lean meat, fish, and chicken. No fried stuff, no junk really, drank only water and skim milk, and tried to eat around every 3 hours or so with small meals while jump roping. By the end of the 2 week, I somehow gained 1 in around my waist and 7 lbs. If you may, please help me tweak my diet and construct a schedule for me to help me achieve a six pack. I worked really hard and really want to continue to get it but stay on the right track as well. I get massive junk food cravings because of my lifestyle back then but because my goals were bigger, I resisted all temptations. If it helps, class for me starts at 8:35am and school ends at 3:35pm. I have an hour lunch from 12:00pm-1:05pm. If anybody has an idea on what I should eat, do tell. Forgot to mention that I also play tennis. Thanks to all in advance.

admin answers:

First, calculate your maintenance amount of calories and eat 500 less than that (see http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm).

Next, split those calories among at least 5 small meals. These meals should have plenty of protein but no sugar. Staying away from processed foods will help. It should look something like this:

breakfast- oatmeal and egg whites
lunch 1- chicken breast on whole wheat bread with veggies
lunch 2- tuna, brown rice
dinner 1- lean beef, green vegetable
dinner 2- chicken breast on salad with olive oil

It appears as if you have the right idea, just count the calories and eat only 500 under maintenance.

Donna asks…

Any good articles on getting six pack abs? Diet or exercise related.?

Like the question sez. I need diet and exercise help. The kind that list foods and recipes, or exercises, and workout routines. Please provide links. Comments without links to articles will not be considered for points. The more articles the merrier. Also, extra preference if the articles give a timeframe (like “in 30 days”), etc. Thanks.
