Why do women enjoy complaining about how men are shallow if they idealize supermodels?

I don’t get this. You don’t NORMALLY see men complaining about the fact that women only want men with six pack and a big D_I_C_K? Im an average guy and i don’t whine about women being “unrealistic”…so why do women do this?

Women complain that men are shallow because they enjoy seeing supermodels on television and in other media, they say men should lower their standards and “accept them for who they are”…WHY THE HELL SHOULD THEY? Men cant help being attracted to the ideal body type (which im sorry to say tends to be the supermodel type)… Are we just supposed to start forcing ourselves to start liking fatties, so women don’t have to take care of themselves? Why do many women have to try and shame men for “not being fair”?

You don’t like it that men idealize the TV supermodel type? Tough luck…do something about it, its NOT impossible to look like them…they did it why cant average women? Lazy? it not like modern women are stuck at home caring for children.

Instead of whining about men being shallow, why not accept it and do something. I know women want a man with a six pack, i know women want a man with money, i know im ugly compared to the ideal man, do i try to bitch and whine about women and society for this? NO!

So why do women hate men who like this particular body type?

Actually, both sexes complain about these things. Some men also complain about women wanting the man with money, or looks (Wow, all you need is a six pack to have looks?), or etc.

Your point of instead of complaining, doing something about it, is a pretty decent one.

However,

Better point, the complaints show a lack of confidence.

So develop some confidence, first.

My experience with women is that they generally look at a man’s confidence first and formost and in some-cases it is the only thing women consider when considering a man.

We men are similar in that respect, but it is not as widely talked about. A woman that is insecure will do things that drive men away like complain and question a man about women he looks at.

How can a thin woman really get a six pack?

I am 5’10” 125lbs so weight/fat loss is not a real issue overall. If I do gain weight, it goes straight to my abs so I suppose I would be “apple shaped” if I was bigger, opposed to “pear shaped.” (I heard for women its usually the abs or hips)

I work out about 4x a week but dont know how much or how long to do cardio (I know necessary to keep the fat off the abs so you can visibly see muscle). I do about 45 mins on eliptical 2-3x/wk. And, how often I should do abs. Every workout? Every other? How strict with carbs b/c I know you have to be if you really want your muscles to show?

I’m def not saying I am anywhere close but what do swimsuit models do for fitness and what do they eat? I think my body type is similar and I want to do this healthy but most plans I find are for people who want to lose weight. I just want to tighten and tone. And, I’m not trying to be Miss Olympia.

Hi there!

Get a scale that calibrates body fat in addition to just weight. If you get down to between 9-13% body fat and hit abs correctly about 3X per week, adding resistance, you should get sick abs!

I was just looking at Yahoo! Answers and saw this question about how this girl said she’s tired of people saying skinny girls aren’t real women, they need curves! I agree, you’re still a woman with or without curves, but then I thought, are women only bothered by this because we let ourselves be bothered? An article in a magazine says ‘Men prefer curvy women‘ so every girl who reads it freaks out and puts herself through hell trying to achieve the perferct body.
I’ve never asked a guy, but if you read a magazine article that said ‘women prefer six packs’(for whatever space-time bending reason) would you care?

Well, now that I asked the question I feel dumb, because I feel like I answered it for myself. But it seems like we have so much more to worry about; hair, make up, clothes, body image. Did it get this way because us women let it?

It is the media’s job to make women and men feel bad about themselves. Without making people feel bad about their hair or body image they can’t sell their products. The media targets both genders with the perfect exercise equipment to get the perfect body or the diet program that will achieve the perfect body. Men are targets for this as much as women. There are hair restoration commercials that target men and of course the male enhancement commercials. Both genders are equally responsible for letting the media control the way they look and feel about themselves.

Why is the 0.7 Hip/Waist Ratio “in”?

All women come in different shapes and sizes, some may have big boobs, some may have small boobs, some may have a big butt, some may not have a big butt, some may have thicker legs but a slim figure, some may have chunky arms but a small waist, etc, etc. So why have scientists “proven” that men prefer the 0.7 hip.waist ratio, when all men are DIFFERENT, and think DIFFERENTLY? It’s like saying ALL women want a man with a six pack, ALL women want a man whose rich and living in a mansion, ALL women want a man who have dark eyes/hair, etc. Also, this whole 0.7 ratio thing is going to get women all over feeling so damn insecure about themselves, thinking that they’re too fat or thin if they don’t have a 0.7 ratio. Honestly, the article made me feel like shyt, not because I am feeling sorry for myself that I don’t have a 0.7 ratio, but because I have always been on stupid diets TRYING to be what everyone else wants me to be. It’s so damn crazy how people, magazines, tv ads, etc make you feel so insecure. Yes I should be proud of my body, but all the damn time there’s always something that has to bring us WOMEN down. Instead of being happiness, radiant and being nice and helpful to others, we should focus on getting a 0.7 ratio to get men now? How will we EVER get checked out again (sarcasm) and who will ever marry us even with a 0.8 ratio (more sarcasm).

The .7 rule feeds the diets industry (pun intended… Hehehe), which is one of the biggest industries there is. Women diet because the media makes them feel bad, the media uses unrealistic beauty standards because that is what makes the beauty industry happy, and the beauty industry buys ads in magazines, and women buy products form the beauty industry because they feel like they have to. It is all about money. Unfortunately it is a hard cycle to break. If a few women stop wearing makeup and being slaves to fashion, they get branded “ugly” and “radical feminists” or “feminazis”. Everyone would have to stop all at once for it to change, and that won’t happen anytime soon.

I always wish that women could choose their level of involvement with their appearance, the same way men can. Men are allowed to be completely ungroomed and still told they are sexy, while women have to slave away just to be average.

Im pretty much the same size as this women but with no abs. : (
I don’t eat healthy at all, I usually don’t eat but once a day but I eat a bunch. Im really thin but have fat from my unhealthy diet. If I tighten my stomach I can see definition where my abs are but its not like that unless I try. I have the jelly rolls when I sit just like we all get but I want a tight tummy with abs like the model in the picture. If A statistic in my Doctors surgery really is true, and believing me many hostile women hate men nowadays?

Do one in three women get violated, because I as a man had a violent father and vowed to focus on why his character was violent and vowed whatever caused it in him would never happen in my or my off spring?

There is nothing funny about having a hammer thrust into your head as a bloke, but dating just two violated women one as a relationship actually harms the intimacy, do women ever recover, and if not what can be done by men to prevent men not respecting women and why is this not a major political issue serious effecting politics is it also an immigration or xenaphobic or genderbias or sexual preference bias question?

From the two women who were violently violated I treated with respect whom other men has committed violence to, I focussed on empowerment and kindness and gratitude, but it seemed in one case the woman could no longer have kids and went nuts and I had the worst sex of my entire life, and in the other, desensitised as if there was no soul as a lust to just stinging men? Weird! Is this the terror talked about when those who care for us are attacked.

What can be done by men, to make women safer and the issues of relationships better too for women who are violated men just dont seem to understand. My specialist doctor said when violation was inevitable enjoy it and it really angered my mom who has led a privelleged life, can some women understand that blokes seeing a woman taken away for a self pitying exercise of focussing hatred and issues other than we male people can not understand is unhelpful if we call it wallowing in self pity apparently it said in the doctors surgery too one in six men get violated too, is this by women? Do they seek revenge by scaring men into the act of excitability as a group pack rape of six women on one man, and do men get taken seriously if they report it?

In days gone bye my folks used to focus on morality, respect decency dignity but dad would manipulate himself by anger to do work, although he was never violently sexual to my knowledge as a loving man, he had a brain infection of white blood cells excessive from motor accident aged 18 caused it and mellowed with age.
Two separate issues, Focussing on gentleness kindness and desiring work as a love of what you do as with people to is a higher motivation than anger to force. So why do folks hot spot take pride in being mean spirited nasty and horrid is this causing it cyclically distructively?
And if you really wanted to manage anger why talk about it surely aborb attention onto responsibly dealing with gentleness not as a denial for the opposite we know already exists but why encourage it if the priorty to focus is quality values of another type, surely we are creating the frustration by denial anger and manipulation rather than kind gentle motivation of desires?

I find it bazaar why dominance is an issue at all or why controlling others as a power trip should be a focus instead, strict adherence to not loose resolve in being kindly gentle will always be more influential even if you have to go your own way about getting it, I just dont see hostile agression as an answer to confronting or combatting inappropriate behaviour especially if healthy behaviour is alleged to be the focus? Relevance, how to return to normality and what is normality in a modern world?

Also, a consumer-driven shift in the entertainment industry would help. If you believe that “life imitates art” then you would support my suggestion.

I’m not calling for censorship, just a shift in the volume of material that contains explicit sexual violence and a request for more entertainment that does not include violence in order to entertain.

Just type in ‘lower abdominal exercises’ into Google and you will find a plethora of web pages, including videos that demonstrate how to perform lower abdominal exercises correctly.

There is one caveat to getting a defined six pack and that is that you may need to lose body fat in order to get that ‘ripped’ definition. What this means is that you may have quite big abdominals already but they are unfortunately covered by a layer of fat. Provided you are not overweight this is nothing to worry about but if you really do want a six pack then realistically the only way you can do this is by dieting and performing a regular cardiovascular workout. Losing weight like this is a controlled process if you want to remain fit and healthy whilst doing it so I am afraid that there is no quick and fast way.

Essentially just increase the cardiovascular and your current abdominal workout intensity and eat a sensible amount of calories.

The two lower abs execises I use are the one where I lie on my back and lift my legs off the ground in a controlled fashion. For something more intense you can lift yourself off the ground on a pull up bar and perform vertical leg raises up to your chest. You should feel the burn specifically in your lower abs.

Personally, I found that the most effective way to tone my abs was to crew in a two man dingy. I think this was due to a combination of sustained abdominal work and general exercise when moving around the boat, pulling ropes in, etc.

Crunches (which is like sit ups except instead of going to your knees lift your self towards the ceiling until you are about 4 to 5 inches of the ground) about 200 every time you do them do like twice a day or as many as you see fit.
Running I am running 5 miles two times a day
Squats (these can be done with out weight just go down as low as you can while keeping your feet flat on the ground) 50 of these around 2 to 3 times a day
High Jumps ( bringing your knees up while jumping) I do around 50 of these twice a day
Cut down on fattening food.

Sit ups: Please note that sit-ups can be a strenuous activity on the lower back. Understanding how to get a six pack and not damage yourself in the process is critical. Do not strain yourself; build up this type of exercise slowly. Twisting during this exercise (left elbow to right knee) is NOT effective and put the lower back under tremendous stress. If you feel even the slightest twinge, then stop.
In order to strengthen your abs, care and technique are necessary. Effective sit-ups need to pull the torso towards the knees from a lying position only using the abdominal group of muscles. If you have your legs straight on the floor then more powerful muscles in the legs will do most of the work.
To counteract this you should bend your knees while sitting up and so make the abdominal muscles feel the burn. If you gather a momentum you will not be working the muscles effectively. Only by slowly raising and lowering will you achieve the best results.

Leg lifts: The challenge with this exercise is to keep your legs straight and not to let your feet touch the floor.
Lie of the floor with your hands by your sides. Keeping your legs straight lift them to 90 Degree and back down but to do allow then to touch the ground, repeat back to the 90 degrees position.

Jacknife Sit-ups: Discover how to get a six pack the hard way with this intense workout.
Start as you would in the position to do sit-ups with your hands at your sides.
Without bending your knees, simultaneously lift you legs in the air and your head and shoulder so that your whole body makes a V-shape. If you can manage it the try to touch your toes.
Then relax and go back to the starting position.

V-ups: This exercise requires good balance and strong core muscles. It can be performed on a bench but can also be carried out on a mat on the floor(but don’t let those legs touch the floor).
Bending your knees, simultaneously lift your legs and your torso so they form a V as you can see from the photo. Then go back to the relax position, during this exercise you arms should remain horizontal.

The Static hold: Get into the push-up position but with your forearms touching the ground. Make sure your body is a straight line from your shoulders down to your toes and hold that position for a minimum of 1 minute.
This exercise strengthen your core abdominal muscles. Repeat this exercise more and more as you strengthen the core muscles.
Understanding how to get a six pack through strengthening your core muscles is key to achieving great abs!

You need to cut out all of the junk food you eat, drink plenty of water. If you keep up with your workouts, try drinking protein shakes to help build muscle. Note that if you drink large amounts of protein and don’t workout, then it turns into fat.

Find a workout routine that works, I found a video on Youtube called 8 minute abs, its an older video but it works your whole abdomen and after a few days I started seeing abs.

The perfect way to do that is through cardio circuit training and eating about 6 meals a day. Your total calorie intake for the whole day will be 1800 and you divide that by 6. So 300 calorie meals every 3 hours should do. You won’t get fat doing this, trust me. What you will be doing is building up your metabolism so your burn more fat and not store fat by going into starvation mode which is caused by not eating enough.It wouldn’t matter if you did 3000 crunches a day if you have fat covering your abs- you won’t ever see em! When you do cardio, do things like running, biking, swimming, pretty much anything that gets your heart rate going. You should try to keep your heart rate up for about 30 minutes or so though that number could vary depending on how intense the workout is.
The other important factor in fat loss is proper diet. Try to avoid things such as soda, chips, candies, stuff like that. You don’t necessarily have to cut that stuff out completely, especially if you are just starting, it can be hard. But the more junk food you cut out, the better your results. Just make sure you dont stop eating or anything, replace the junk with healthier alternatives.

As for exercise, do this. I have posted two workouts, pick which one you can do best first and move to the second one after 4 weeks:

A) Well doing endless amounts of crunches isn’t going to get a flat stomach. You just need to contract your ab muscles enough that they get worked out and burn the fat around it. To get your mid-section toned up and get a flat stomach, you can do various crunches involving cardio. In addition to traditional crunches you can do “Jackknife crunches” ( lay flat on the floor, arms extended out behind the top of your head with your palms facing the sky. Then keeping your joints locked and knees straight, lift your legs up and your body and arms at the same time to make a “V”. Then back down and repeat)-google this exercise or any others for pictures or videos if you needed. You can also do “side crunches” by laying on your side and doing crunches. (these are great for sheding the love handles). If you have a pull up bar (like at a park or something) you can do “hanging knee raises” by hanging from the bar an lifting your knees to your abs. If you can’t do hanging knee raises, try doing “leg lifts”-this is like my favorite ab exercise that really burns fat and calories! One thing that helps burn more fat than anything is by doing different exercises with little rest in between. It’s like the supersets or the value meal of a exercise program- more of what you want in less time! The little rest actually enables your body to release a growth hormone which burns fat and build/ tones up your muscles. You can do this, it works like a beauty for me every year: 30-40 regular crunches, move straight to 30-40 side crunches, 10-20 second rest and then 20-30 jackknife crunches, 20-30 reverse crunches and then do do 20 hip thrusts (google if needed), rest 10-20 seconds after that and finish it off 20 hanging knee raises (or leg lifts). Rest for 4-5 minutes and do cycle over again 2 more times. Do this workout 3-4 times a week and you could have a beach ready body in 6-8 weeks! You can add your own exercises into this routine but just stay with the principle.

B)You will do this Mon, Wed, Fri. Lay something on ground like a beach towel or something (mat) right on the foot of your bed. On your bed, you will start off with 20 knee ups (google this). After that, get on the floor immediately and do 20 leg raises. Take a 15 second rest. Now do 20 reverse crunches, 20 leg on the bed crunches and 20 hip thrusts (google these if needed). Rest 15 seconds again after those. Now do 20 cross crunches (10 each side), 20 reach and touch touches (10 each side), and finish it off with 20 cross leg reverse crunches (10 each side).-[Google or youtube any of these exercises for pictures or videos as needed]. Now take a 3-4 min break and do this cycle again 2 more times.
Now after this cycle, you will lay flat on the mat on your back. Get two dumbbells (8lb-15lbs each arm-depending on your strength level). Raise them straight up over. Now bend your elbows bringing the weights right over your forehead at 90 degrees. Then straighten them back out. You will have done a dumbbell tricep extension. Now After doing that, while holding the weights up over your head, lift your torso up of the ground (shoulders off the ground) while at the same time lifting each leg up one at a time doing a “scissors movement” and back down. Repeat this whole entire movement 15-20 times and do 3 sets of these with 10 second rests in between each set. That’s pretty much it. As for Tues, Thurs, Sat, you can do cardio which is running or cycling.

As with any exercise, you will want to check your progress and ensure you increase repetitions or weight (reps in this case as you will most likely be using body weight only). Also remember to take breaks every so often (possibly every other day or every couple of days) and switch things up so it doesn’t become too boring.

Best of luck and most importantly stay with it. Progress could be slow or it could be fast depending on your body type.Also-make sure to drink plenty of water (STAY HYDRATED!!!- can’t stress that enough to my people), stay away from too many carbs, sugars, and sodium. Avoid saturated and Trans fat with a passion and try burn more calories than you consume. I know you aren’t fat but it will help you get rid of the unwanted belly fat faster. I’m sure if you stick to it, it will yield results! :-)

Well guess what, you’ve come to the right place. Do a lot of running if you’re fat, if you’re not, just do a little running. Have a good diet, if you don’t you’ll be as fat as a hippo. For your abs, do sit-ups, but lift your legs to get those deep, hard-to-reach lower abs. By the way use your arms to get your head up otherwise, you’ll put strain on your neck. Your arms and pecs require the same exercise, push-ups and bench pressing. Don’t lift too heavy and don’t do the exercises too long. I was told if you lift too heavy, you’ll stunt your growth. Maybe not for non-weight exercises, but just to be on the safe side, don’t push yourself beyond the limit. All of this counts for big, bad muscles. Don’t get angry if your muscles don’t come instantly, I did sit-ups, and in a few weeks, I was totally ripped.

First of all, start cutting out crappy food. You should begin to start drinking only water and lots of protein throughout the day. Don’t do your sit-ups at night, do them in the morning or in the middle of the day and then have some food high in protein. Also try to incorporate some other forms of weight lifting into your exercise.

I advise to not do a specified amount. Do the workout until you feel that if you do anymore, you won’t be able to move. Try to do your crunches slower, you will feel a greater burn. Also do different types of cruches, all parts of the abs are important. Do normal crunches, reverse crunches (moving legs, body stays still), double crunches (moving your legs both to the ground and up while you do a normal crunch, essentually normal and double crunches combined), bicycles (put your hands behind your head and touch opposite knees while your legs move forwards and backwards,) leg lifts (bringing your legs perpendicular to the floor and then bringing them down without touching the floor), and flutter kicks (raising your legs 6 inches off the ground and do the flutter kick, not raising your legs too high and always keeping your hands by your side). Any combination of these will do the trick.

Also keep in mind the abs are some of the trickiest muscles in the body. Constant, hard workouts are needed to maintain them.

I am 6’1″ and i went from 240 pounds down to 180 pounds. Ate 100% correctly, did my weights, my cardio.

At best, i had a tight stomach. With a little bit of “lines” in it so you can see some abs. But i NEVER had a six pack. And i never will. Its just not in my genetics.

Two weeks is a very short time to develop six pack abs, however if the conditions are right, it can be done.

For instance, in order to accomplish this you must have pretty decent muscle tone already developed in your abdominal region (believe it or not, most of us already do, but it’s covered with a layer of fat) and minimal body fat.

With only two weeks, exercise will do very little to develop a six pack. However you can manipulate your diet (carbs specifically) to shed excess water retention short term.

The concept is very simple; carbs attach to water to be stored into your cells. When you deplete your stored carbs, you deplete your water storage. This will make your skin look more transparent, thus showing your muscles more. Models, athletes, movie stars do this all the time. The picture of the ripped fitness model is after they have depleted their body of their excess water. They don’t always look that way.

First off, getting your abs to show is 90% diet. You have to eat healthy because you can have abs but have them covered by a layer of fat. Second running and swimming are the best exercises. They burn a lot of fat all over your body. Now for building muscle, this is the best ab workout I have ever come across. IT has more than 20 exercises. Loosing unwanted weight is always very difficult. When we eat we fill our cells. If we are taking in more than we are burning off the cells will multiply. The fat cells will never go away. They will shrink when we lose weight but if the bad eating habits return the fat cells will expand quickly. This is why people gain weight back so quickly after a crash diet. There’s not secrete to losing weight. Always boils down to two things. 1.) Proper diet. Including portion amount, time of intake, what foods you’re eating. I have read every diet book and tried most of them twice. I’m not over weight, but like to have a tight 6 pack. I have also been to a nutritionist only to better what I’m eating. What I’ve found over the years is that you need to balance your meals and eat several meals. Eating once or twice a day sends your body into a mode where it thinks you are going to starve and it will store everything instead of burning calories your forcing it to keep them in storage. Eating several small times a day increases the metabolism. It forces your body and digestive system to go to work. Avoid sugars and excess carbohydrates. I have had the best results this year when I started eating things based on the glycemic index. Which will help control insulin and glucose. Insulin also makes the body store food. Snack on mixed nuts, raw veggies or fruits. 2.) Working out. (Cardio mixed with weight training will produce best results. Cardio 1st will increase heart rate and core temperature. Follow with some weight training. You will burn more calories and have a more intense training session.)
This is an example of what I eat. I’m not saying I’m perfect; this is what works for me.
Breakfast: I’ll eat one pack of low sugar oatmeal. I prefer cinnamon and apples. Sometimes I’ll cut up a banana or put some frozen blue berry’s mixed in. I’ll boil eggs the night before and eat 3 egg whites for the added protein.
Lunch: I can of tuna fish, I like to cut up red pepper, onions, celery, and I’ll add some egg whites left over from breakfast. I’ll eat this with one slice of wheat bread. Nature best has some healthy bread. White bread has no nutritional value. I’ll have my tuna with an apple or pear. Both are lower on the glycemic index.
Dinner: I’ll have some kind of meat. I prefer chicken or I’ll grill fish. Different kinds of color rice and I’ll have some kind of vegetable.
I could write all day, but the best advice I can give you is to control your portion intake and eat more times a day.

If you already have a low body fat percentage than doing situps and crunches will help you. Don’t go crazy with them. A lot of people go to the gym and fo hundreds of situps and crunches every day. They treat their abs differently from every other muscle in the body. Treat them the same as you would any other muscle and you will see improvements.

Personally, i dont have nor have never strived for a six pack…i much rather have a back like a barn door, shoulders like anvils, legs like tree trucks and arms like…well, you get the idea.

I dont ever train my abs in isolation but i have a half decent six pack…just make sure you are heavy squatting, deadlifting and doing pullups with a light weight inbetween your knees to keep your body stiff and you will see definition.

Eat proper and instead of doing a certain number of sit ups like most people, you should do it for an amount of time like for example.

Wide arm sit ups= basically keep your legs bent and put your arms on your chest and as you sit up open up your arms wide.

Diving sit-ups= Put your hands forward like your going to dive in to a swimming pool and keep them out don’t bring them back in at all during the sit-ups and just sit up that way you are using your abs not your arms to help sit you up.

Bench press sit ups= place your arms as if you are about to bench press and sit up moving your arms in a bench press motion at the same time.

Below the kneecap sit-ups= keep your legs bent and put your arms out in front of you and sit up so your hands touch just below your knee caps.

Full sit-ups= keep your legs bent and put the tips of your fingers on the floor and sit up and touch your ankles trying not to use your legs to help sit you up.

The plank= this hurts you need to put your fists together so they are touching and point your elbows outwards a bit to make a triangle shape and then stretch out making sure only your forearms, fists, and tip of your toes are touching the floor and hold for 1 minute keeping your body as level and as straight as you can.

Do each of the sit-up excersises for at least a minute each then gradually add time as you get used to doing them..

Basically, abs won’t show if your Body Fat Percentage is above, say, 10-12%. Men naturally have a lower BFP. An athletic man would have about 8% BFP, while an athletic woman would have a number closer to 15. To drive down this number you’d need to avoid fatty and high-carb foods (not entirely, of course, just so that you’re burning more calories than you’re taking on). You’d need to manage your diet carefully so as to maximize fat burning. Basically this means eating few or (preferably) no carbs 4 hours or so before bed, and trying not to eat at all within a couple of hours before bed (unless it’s something like non-fat cottage cheese, which is an excellent source of the slow-absorbing casein protein). Also, cardio, while important, is not necessarily the best way to eliminate excess fat. Resistance training (weight lifting) has been shown to keep your metabolism higher for longer (up to three hours after a work out) than cardio (which only raises your metabolism for as long as you’re actually working out). A good workout program that combines these types of exercises with a well-planned diet is the best route to abs.

Keep in mind, too, that when you start working with weights more you’ll want to increase your protein intake (and maybe also your glutamine intake) so as to keep those muscles healthy and growing. And be careful not to overtrain! Never work the same primary muscle group two days running! Gains are made in the off days, and you’ll only rip the muscle fibers to the point of injury.

Eating several small times a day increases the metabolism. It forces your body and digestive system to go to work. Avoid sugars and excess carbohydrates. I have had the best results this year when I started eating things based on the glycemic index. Which will help control insulin and glucose. Insulin also makes the body store food. Snack on mixed nuts, raw veggies or fruits. 2.) Working out. (Cardio mixed with weight training will produce best results. Cardio 1st will increase heart rate and core temperature. Follow with some weight training. You will burn more calories and have a more intense training session.)
This is an example of what I eat. I’m not saying I’m perfect; this is what works for me.
Breakfast: I’ll eat one pack of low sugar oatmeal. I prefer cinnamon and apples. Sometimes I’ll cut up a banana or put some frozen blue berry’s mixed in. I’ll boil eggs the night before and eat 3 egg whites for the added protein.
Lunch: I can of tuna fish, I like to cut up red pepper, onions, celery, and I’ll add some egg whites left over from breakfast. I’ll eat this with one slice of wheat bread. Nature best has some healthy bread. White bread has no nutritional value. I’ll have my tuna with an apple or pear. Both are lower on the glycemic index.
Dinner: I’ll have some kind of meat. I prefer chicken or I’ll grill fish. Different kinds of color rice and I’ll have some kind of vegetable.
I could write all day, but the best advice I can give you is to control your portion intake and eat more times a day.
